Psychotherapy with Children, Adolescents, and Adults
The human struggle is a phenomenon that transcends time and cultures. It is a normal part of life to experience periods of sadness, confusion, hardship, and an overall desire for self-betterment. Therapy provides a secure environment for examining the intricacies of the mind and deriving meaning from life experiences.
In my practice, I employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques and compassionate support to help clients navigate through past traumas and present issues. My expertise expands to encompass a holistic approach that recognizes the essential connection between mind and body. Having collaborated with diverse individuals and families throughout my career, I am skilled at tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each person. My approach is rooted in empowerment, encouraging individuals to tap into their strengths and inherent capacity for change.
I have experience working with folks from all walks of life, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community, blended families, individuals with disabilities, and those in recovery. I am especially passionate about working with people seeking insight as to how their upbringing inevitably shapes their life and relationships today. I also greatly enjoy working with teens and young adults. Much of my early career involved working within the child welfare system, which provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities of human development and family dynamics. As we embark on a therapeutic journey together, I am committed to fostering a collaborative and trusting relationship, encouraging open dialogue and the exploration of new perspectives.
My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to build a meaningful and fulfilling life, free from the burdens of the past, and to embrace a future filled with hope and resilience.
